There are more grape varieties in the produce aisle right now than at any point in human history, and almost none of them tell you what they actually taste like. That's the whole reason this site exists.

A Grape Life Rankings is one person's ongoing, extremely serious attempt to taste, score, and rank every table grape variety worth knowing about — the classics, the trademarked designer varieties, and the occasional gimmick that deserves to be called out by name. Every grape gets tasted across at least two separate bags or clusters before it gets a score, because one underripe cluster can sink an otherwise great variety.
